Series 1 Episode 7: Angel-Dante

The Truth of the Story

Screen Written by Trenton

Opening Scene:

Dear Diary,

Despite their disbelief I have a tale to tell. I have gone and done something that should not be spoken off. I have preformed a taboo that even within my own moral code should not be broken. However, allow me to regale you first as to how I came upon this situation.

Act 1:

It was about 9:00 when I decided after the days events, which are cataloged elsewhere, to return back to my house and gather my belongings. Seeing as I no longer live at home. After graduation I moved in with Mason to become a permanent resident at what we have begun to call “The Shack.” The shack is a base of operations on the outskirts of town that we established as to better spy on Dante, though that quickly fizzled. Now anyway, as I was saying, I returned home to pack up my room. My mother greeted me with her usual cheeriness and asked me where I had been for the past three days. I, of course, told her that I was given residence in town by order of Father Ray. However, my mother somehow thought that I was lying and began to cry incessantly. I went to my room leaving my mother to weep her tears and bang on my door screaming something like, “You can’t leave me here alone…” it was really quite pathetic.

Well, after clearing out all my belongings and packing up my computer I headed for the door. I placed my computer by the front door and when back and gathered up my suitcases. It was then that my mother did the most unexpected thing. I was at the top of the stairs and my mother was again screaming that I couldn’t leave. I ignored her, which would end up my undoing. I turned around to say my goodbye when I saw the baseball bat head straight at me. I had no time to react and my mother smashed my head sending me tumbling down the stairs.

Act 2:

The last thing that I remember was her descending upon me. It was then that another curious thing happened. I seemed to elevate from my body. I sort of ascended and saw the entire house. I saw Tasha knocking at the door and listening as my mother carried my body to the basement. Then I saw the other two…Bambi and Selina looking in the window as my mother carried the clothes I was wearing and my suitcases back to my room. Tasha broke into the house and went upstairs. The others stayed behind as Mason left for the Garage. Tasha looked frantic looking high and low for me, sadly she started high and traveled upstairs. She checked every room eventually coming to the attic. There was no sign of my mother as she had already moved to the basement with a shotgun.

This is when I am thinking she heard Tasha upstairs. So, she headed up through the kitchen making sure not to be seen by the two “whores,” as she called them. She followed locking Tasha in the Attic placing a china cabinet against the door. That is when the two women decided to investigate. Selina went first. My mother turned and let one shot fly. It hit Selina square in the chest. She went tumbling down the stairs into Bambi’s arms. Bambi then retreated from the house and got Mason. Mason then performed the same maneuver earning him a shot in the leg. Bambi carried Mason to the bottom of the stairs and went to the basement to find a weapon to use against my mother. That is when she found me.

Act 3:

I felt myself drawn back into my body and slowly awakened to Bambi using my body as cheap gigalo. She took my body twice, it was extremely disgusting, I hate women, but finally she began to untie me from my bonds. We rushed upstairs, well, as fast as we could, and found Mason and Tahsa standing over my mother. I asked what happened and they said she had suddenly collapsed. It seemed she was having a heart attack. I ceased to care. Then the problems became worse. The police came and all became a fog.

The next thing I remember is being in the police department and two very irritating policemen were questioning me. I was filled with an urge to kill them both without question. So, I obeyed my urge. I thrust myself from my chair and grabbed the closest one’s eyes. I ripped them free of their sockets and let them drop to the floor. The body went limp and convulsed on the floor, due to shock I suppose. I turned to the other and pounced upon him. I could hear beautiful music playing. I could almost hear a symphony that was in tuned with all of my movements. I  raised one of my hands and slashed it across the mans face gouging deeply with my seemingly elongated finger nails. The blood felt good across my hands, I can not deny that it didn’t. Soon, others came in and pried me off of the fallen policeman and dragged me through the hallways. I caught a glimpse of Tasha and smiled waving a blood stained hand at her as I saw them sliding the bodies behind me to the infirmary.

Finale:

I woke up in a cell, with a gorgeous looking man with me. He sat in a rocking chair and looked at me simply. He spoke so softly asking me simply if I wish all of this didn’t happen. I said that I was glad that it happened but that I wanted out of this cell. He nodded, in sort of a knowing way. He asked me, “If you could go back and do it again what would you do differently.” I merely said, “To kill my mother before she had a chance to try and kill me.” He nodded and told me that he could give me that chance. He offered me a piece of paper written in a language that I didn’t know. I felt as though my options were limited so I signed. I felt my body shift again and I was back at the top of the stairs. Time seemed to have revolved back. I heard my mother’s voice again right behind me. I spun on my toes and slammed the suitcases into her head sending her careening back down the hallway. I glanced at her shocked look and walked down the stairs and opened the door to Tasha. I smiled pleasantly and walked out saying that I would eventually need some time alone with my mommy. She looked confused and I knew why.

I smiled despite the fact the fact that Tasha and the others would never know what went on. I merely contented myself by thinking of what my mother was going to look like without any skin. The only think that I am regretful of is I don’t even know the name of the man whom I sold my soul to. Though I really don’t much care, if he wants my soul he may have it. I just hope he knows that I am not as innocent as I look…
