Sammy's Page
Well, Sammy is at the end of third grade now. She is doing very good in her schoolwork. Her grades average on A's. She is getting so big. It seems like only yesterday I was playing peek-a-boo with her, and now she reads to me. She adds 3 digit numbers. Where did the time go?!?! As far as her Opositional Defiance Disorder, she is still pretty defiant. Docs say the only thing we can do is be persistant. That's a big help. But with her smarts, we know she has to eventually grow out of it. Hopefully before I go crazy. =) And before she reaches her 15th birthday. As if teens weren't difficult enough already!
She takes after her great great Aunt Dee when it comes to holding a tune. She tries, and she is getting better at hearing the notes and copying them, but she has to really focus. Her appetite is incredible. She can out-eat me any day of the week. She has the prettiest smile, and an adorable laugh. She loves to play the ham, and I think she could do well as a drama major! Smart, stubborn, rebellious, destructive, adorable, sweet, and a charmer. What a package from God she is! She really keeps us on our toes! I wouldn't trade for the world! I love you Sammy, and I pray that you use the awesome potential that God has blessed you with. If you do, the sky's the limit! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO from Aunt Mary to her Sammy!
