*If tomorrow never comes*
If I knew
it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would
tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew
it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I would
give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
If I knew
it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would
video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew
it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two
to stop
and say I love you, instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew
it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
well I'm
sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely
there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we
always get a second chance to make everything right.
There will
always be another day to say our I love you's,
And certainly
there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"
But just
in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like
to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget,
Tomorrow
is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today
may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight..
So if you're
waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if
tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you
didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you
were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold
your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear, Tell them how much
you love
them and that you'll always hold them dear, Take time to say "I'm sorry,
please
forgive me," "thank you" or "it's okay". And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll
have no regrets about today

*Something
to think about...*
Do not undermine
your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because
we are different that each of us is
Do not
set your goals by what other people deem important.
Only you
know what is best for you….
Do not
let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past nor for the
future.
By living
your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.
Do not
give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really
over until the moment you stop trying.
It is a
fragile thread that binds us to each other…..
Do not
be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn
how to be brave
Do not
shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find. The
quickest way to receive love is to give love; the fastest way to lose love
is to hold it too tightly.
Do not
dismiss your dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope; to
be without hope is to be without purpose.
Do not
run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been,
but also where you are going.
Life is
not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

*Reasons, Seasons and Lifetimes*
People come
into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out
which it is,
this is
to help you know exactly what to do.
When someone
is in your life for a Reason,
it is usually to meet a need you have
expressed
outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide
you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may
seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need
them to be.
Then, without
any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will
say or
do something
to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they
walk away.
Sometimes
they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize
is that our need
has been
met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has
been answered
and it
is now time to move on.
When people
come into your life for a Season,
it is because your turn has come
to share,
grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may
teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable
amount
of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
Lifetime
relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon
in
order to
have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love
the person/people
(any way);
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas
of your life.
It is said
that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life...

*Be thankful*
Be thankful
that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you
did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful
when you don't know something,
for it
gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful
for the difficult times.
During
those times you grow.
Be thankful
for your limitations,
because
they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful
for each new challenge,
because
it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful
for your mistakes.
They will
teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful
when you're tired and weary,
because
it means you've made a effort.
It's easy
to be thankful for the good things.
A life
of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also
thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude
can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a
way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they
can become your blessings.

*I Believe*
I believe-
that our
background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are
responsible
for who we become.
I believe-
that no
matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a
while and
you must
forgive them for that.
I believe-
that just
because someone doesn't love you the way you want them todoesn't mean
they don't
love you with all they have.
I believe-
that true
friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.
Same goes
for true love.
I believe-
that it's
taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I believe-
that you
should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time
you see them.
I believe-
that you
can keep going, long after you can't.
I believe-
that we
are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I believe-
that either
you control your attitude or it controls you.
I believe-
that heroes
are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done,
regardless
of the consequences.
I believe-
that money
is a lousy way of keeping score.
I believe-
that my
best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I believe-
that sometimes
the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to
help
you get
back up.
I believe-
that sometimes
when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the
right to
be cruel.
I believe-
that maturity
has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've
learned
from them
and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.
I believe-
that it
isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn
to forgive
yourself.
I believe-
that no
matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I believe-
that just
because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other.
And just
because
they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.
I believe-
that you
shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.
I believe-
that two
people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I believe-
that your
life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know
you.
I believe-
that even
when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you
you will
find the
strength to help.
I believe-
that credentials
on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I believe-
that the
people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.
