Baby Sling
Back to Homepage
This is the sling I made from the basic Maya Wrap pattern.  I bought 2.5 yards of fabric but felt like it was a little too long, so I cut it down to 2.25 yards.  I bought the nylon rings from Elizabeth Lee Designs for less than $3, and the fabric is a cool Batik from Hancocks that I got during their 40% off "early bird" sale, so the fabric ended up being only about $8.  The whole project took less than 30 minutes to put together.  I am already enjoying this lightweight, unpadded sling, especially here in Arkansas where it was 80 degrees this afternoon!  The long tail makes a perfect sunshade for Connor's little head, too.
