The info
----------
Well, as you may not know, I've been working on a Soundfont, similar to this..
I've already scrapped 2 soundfont projects, due to 'saving errors' and 'crashes during save.' (Ironic..)
But this time, I have a REAL SOUNDBLASTER LIVE! So I can use 2 formats, ACP (Audio Compositor font format) and SF2 (E-mu systems Soundfont v2)
I use Audio Compositor to put together my soundfont. (Heck, it's easier than Vienna.)
Anyway, enough talk.. This soundfont represents waveforms from the Gameboy (tm) sound system. (you know, the squares, gits and all)
Well, I've put together a soundfont, USING these sounds (sorta like those teeny-weeny synth fonts) into multiple patches.
For the instruments, they're just mere less-than-10kb wav's, programmed to make more sound with articulation, loop and poly.
If you have a REALLY-REALLY-GOOD sound card, then take this font.

Requirements
--------------
IBM or 100% compatible PC system.
AT LEAST 50kb of memory left. ;)
Sound Blaster AWE64/Live!/Audigy/Extigy etc. or compatible.
Support for TONS of polyphony. (1028?)
MIDI volume less than 100% (Because it really CRACKS it down ;))

What's new:
---------------------------
v0.24:
-Fixed the note-limit problem. (extra wav files with their respective region)
-Fixed Piano loudness
-Fixed other various problems
-Added 3 more patches (Overdr Git, Slp bs, Nylon git)
-BASSED the BASS
-Included the ACP file in the package (For those who use Audio Compositor, and wants to see the source)
-Included the GM list. (Some patches are removed, because i remove the names of what has already been done in the soundfont)
-Other bugs I've fixed...

v0.22c:
-Realised wave enlargement wasn't helping the note limit.. different wav files may be in place in later versions... :(

v0.22b:
-Added Patch 48 (strings normal, slightly warbled)

v0.22a:
-Added Patch 1 (Brightened Patch 0)
-Added Patch 20 (Reeds)
-Octaved patch 21 (Octavocordions aka GB Accordions)
-Currently working on the note-limit fix.. no improvement as of yet.

v0.20:
-Re-sampled the waves AGAIN. (due to lack of improvement on the 'note limit'
-Fixed a few loop ends on the waves
-Now all waves are C4 note base. (they were previously 'recorded' overriden note bases)
-Changed the readme. (It sounded a bit too mean)
-Since the fix, the file size and ram consumption has raised from 1kb to 7kb.
-Other minor tweaks, which i will not list here.. ;)

v0.15:
-Fixed a tad flaw with a 'note limit' on the single wave files (still imperfect, will be fixed later)
-Re-sampled the waveforms.

WARNING
-----------
MaliceX does not take the responsibility to any damage caused by this 'Alpha-staged' soundfont.
It is totally UP TO YOU on HOW to use this thing WISELY. If it damages your 'Boom-Boom Speakers' I will not take blame.
This project is not copyrighted, so the sources included are yours freely. But you are to give me credit on your readme, whatsoever.
But I will NOT allow 'selling' or 'compiling' with this soundfont. As is. okay? You will need my permission for this.
Also, I am not affliated to Nintendo (R) nor any other company/person/etc. This is a solo project, but is open-source freely.
So I MAY accept other improvements to this soundfont, into the 'official' releases. You will receive full credit of course. ;)

Other crap
-------------
List of broken soundfonts (No, I don't have them.. they were totally corrupted):
--Private use soundfont compilation (this was for my use only :P)
--SNES soundfont (I tried man... but I just didn't have the right crap)
--Gameboy Soundfont -=PAST=- version (Hm.. this one got corrupted, when i was going REAL GOOD on it.. :()
--Mouth GM (BAHAHAHA. This one was funny. All my 'vocal' singular waveform were made into this soundfont, but 1. It got corrupted, 2. I had no intention of starting again. yes it was backed.. well, the WAV Files)

Okay, here are the websites which this soundfont SHOULD be ONLY in the internet:
http://www.zophar.net
http://www.geocities.com/myscreenjr
http://sonikstudios.dyndns.org/malicex

There'll be more 'mirrors' as this project progresses.

Conclusion
------------
GB emu authors, for their hard work on Gameboy (advance) emulation. Especially the sound engine. this is generally everyone..
Creative, for making a good soundcard :P
E-Mu systems, for their Soundfont format
Audio Compositor, for its style of font making.
Sonic Foundry, for their UBER-FANTASICO sound editor, Sound Forge.
Geocities, for at least hosting my FIRST WORKING site.
Beta, for his free hosting service. :P this thing is mirrored you know.
Emulation, for without it, there wouldn't be any 'console2pc' stuff.
And myself, for having the inginuity and know-how *shot* of how to get around this crap. This is a solo project.. Technically, not, but all work is done by me. (except the programs and all. :P)
