These are my beloved Sasha dolls. They have been part of my doll
collection for over twenty years now. I first saw Sasha dolls in
1977, in a small store called the 'Marcy Street Doll Shop' in
Porstmouth New Hapmshire. I was immediately enchanted.
But at the time, they cost $50.00, which was a lot of money to pay
for a doll. Also, at sixteen, I felt rather rediculous wanting to
buy a new doll (little did I know :-)). It would be five years
before I went back and bought my first one. since then, they have
traveled across the country as well as the Atlantic ocean.
And sometimes, when I look at thier faces, they actually seem to be
wearing exspressions as lifelike as any real child. Sometimes sad,
sometimes begrudging. Sometimes pensive and sometimes content.
My Sasha family consists of only three dolls right now. Sasha, Gregor,
and a brunette ballerina dress Sasha that I have renamed Meghan. But
this website is dedicated to the Sasha spirit. So I hope you enjoy the
photo stories and Sasha size printables you find here. I will be adding
printables for every month and holiday's, so check back often. If you'd
