Brake / Rudder Pedal Assembly
Assembly of the Brake Pedals were fairly straight forward.

The challenge would be to drill the pivot hole for the master cylinder, such that all four brake pedals were even with each other when the assembly is mounted in the fuselage.

Since the rudder pedals are made up of two arms that mount one forward of the other, when they hang in the fuselage, one frame is tilted back and one is tilted forward. The trick is to mount the brake pedals relative to each other and NOT the rudder pedal frame.

I set up a jig and determined the two frames were each 6 degrees tilted when the bottom of the rudder pedals would meet each other (12 degrees total).

I figured I wanted the brake pedals about 6 degrees back from vertical when mounted, so I made the right brake pedals even inside the frame, and the left 12 degrees back from the frame. I double checked the angles with a level, then drilled the master cylinder pivot holes.

This arrangement made the pedals even with each other once the assembly was mounted.
