It is once again time for our Gate Keeper Tourney and St. Eggberts Feast.

Saturday 26 September 10 AM until 10 PM
Once again we honor Eggbert of the Chickens with a potlatch feast to be presented buffet style at about 5:30 PM.
Please bring a side-dish or dessert to feed 10 persons, your trenchery and a hearty appetite.
The shire and its members are providing 2 main dishes, bread, salad, tea and coffee.
The dinner co-ordinator is HL Sharon the Merchant's Wife.
The tournament to find a new GateKeeper begins at about 11 AM.
The prize is a tourney chest full of loot and the honor and token of the GateKeeper.
At about 3 PM there will be a Game of the Goose Tournament. Please sign up at the gate.
The winner will receive a custom handpainted canvas goose board with case and all necessary playing pieces.
It would be lovely if you have a goose board if you would bring it to help facilitate the tourney.
Other games are also available to play the day away.
HL Stephen the Merchant will be doing a felting demo and there will likely be other arts and sciences demos.

Directions: Take your best route to Rogue River Oregon. From the freeway go straight into the heart of town(not over the new bridge!) to where the road Tees. Make a right then a nearly an immediate left onto Broadway in front of the hardware store. Go just past the hardware store, the site is on the right.
A Small note from the Gatekeeper.
Being as the gatekeeper is the guardian and protector of the legendary ruby-eyed albino aligators, their defender should also be legendary, or maybe wield a legendary weapon, or be good at faking it at least! =) so fighters bring what ever weapon you choose and invent a story as to how legendary it or you are to share with the on lookers. come fight in our round robin tournament to choose who will join the line of we who have defended the legendary beasts who live deep in the under belly of the summits
