All right. Once again it's been way too long since an update, so I have decided to give you one. There are no tabs, however, because I simply haven't gotten around to writing any. Don't worry, though. I'll have some for you within the week. On Sunday, I had the priviledge to see Ringo Starr and his new All Starr Band, so here's my brief review of the show:
It was a fantastic show with a fantastic group of musicians, which included the legendary Greg Lake, a huge influence on my own musical style. We arrived almost an hour before the show started and waited with intense anticipation, and as we waited, we watched the numerous crew members tuning instruments and doing soundchecks. I noticed one of them tuning the famous guitar that can be seen on Greg Lake's website and took this as a hint that Greg would be performing Lucky Man for us.
Sitting behind us were a man and a boy that I assumed was his son. The boy didn't really know who anyone in the band was, except for Ringo, and his father was telling him all that he knew. However, the father didn't really have all the facts straight either. I heard him mention that Greg Lake had only three songs: Lucky Man, In the Beginning, and Welcome Back. I was about to turn around and correct his several mistakes, but at that moment the show began.
I won't go into great detail about the individual songs that the band played, but I will describe some of the highlights. Ringo was his usual playful self, and the rest of the band were quite excellent. Lake didn't amaze me with his bass playing, as he has done with ELP, but his singing, now with a far deeper voice than he once had, was as powerful as ever. I cannot describe my excitement when they began to play In The Court Of The Crimson King. I wasn't expecting any King Crimson numbers, but I was very happy to hear this song. It's a personal favorite of mine. The other two Lake driven songs were Lucky Man and Karn Evil 9 - 1st Impression (Part Two). Howard Jones did an excellent job of capturing the original sound of Keith Emerson's music. That aside, his keyboard playing was phenomenal. Roger Hodgson and Ian Hunter played a few songs that I enjoy a lot, although I can't remember all the details. Later, Sheila E. impressed everyone with her percussion talents. It was amazing. Another highlight for me was when we all sang along with Yellow Submarine and With A Little Help From My Friends. Overall, the show was even better than I expected it would be. I suppose that's what happens when you see a band composed of seven serious rock stars. It was also the last venue of the tour, so they pulled out all the stops.
I'm sorry to bring you an update entirely unrelated to the Meat Puppets, but sometimes that's how it goes. I'll be back with some tabs soon.

Okay, I finished up Too High to Die. Next I think I'll either tab Monsters or the very early albums. New tabs for today:
- Flaming Heart
- Station
- Backwater
- June 17, 2001
Sorry it's been so long. Now that summer's here, I can spend more time with my guitar. I was in a Forbidden Places sort of mood today, so that's where these three new tabs are from. However, I've been getting requests for certain songs as well as certain albums, so after these I think I'll finish up Too High to Die, and then move on to the early albums. Oh yeah! I'll probably tab some Monsters songs soon as well. On a completely separate note, I picked up a copy of the new Blue Oyster Cult album, and I have to say I'm just a little disappointed. I think Heaven Forbid had a great deal more character. Oh well, you can't win 'em all. On another completely separate note, I recently saw the film, Moulin Rouge, twice. It's definitely one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. No other movie has both Elton John and Nirvana. It's quite simply amazing. At any rate... New tabs for today:
- Whirlpool
- Popskull
- No Longer Gone
- Mar. 9, 2001
Ah! That feels good. Two updates on two consecutive days. I found some time today for tabbing. Hence, three tabs:
- Up On the Sun
- Maiden's Milk
- Away
- Mar. 8, 2001
Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. It's been way too long. I HATE it when people don't update their sites, don't you? Well anyway, I have very few tabs for you today. In fact, there is but one, and it isn't even the whole song. I've been very busy with school lately, and I haven't been able to find the time to update the site. Anyhow, I said that the rest of Up On the Sun would follow soon. Well, that was untrue. It didn't happen. I got very lazy, and it isn't there. So this update is just to let you know I am still alive and the site will, in fact, continue to grow. So don't worry that the Puppetorium has retired already or anything like that. Only one tab today: (And I think there's already a tab for this one somewhere on the internet) Oh well. (Sigh)
- The Wind and the Rain (Just the intro)
- Jan. 24, 2001
Okay, it's been awhile. I've been taking tests at school lately, but I decided to simply sit down to learn how to play stuff from Up On the Sun. I only tabbed one song, because I need to study for my chemistry final. The rest of the album should follow soon. Here you go, Leroy:
- Jan. 8, 2001
I have completed just about all of the You Love Me EP. Furthermore, I have fixed some errors with Golden Lies, particularly in "Armed and Stupid." New tabs today:

Another long time since I updated. I have removed the lyrics section, because I felt that it was unnecessary. After all, this site is about tablature. Anyway, I have added several new tabs, and there are more on the way. New tabs today:
- I Quit
- Lamp
- Hercules
- Batwing
- Take Off Your Clothes
- You Love Me
- Four bass tabs sent to me by Donk

I have made corrections
with some of the tabs of Too High to Die. Aside from that, I have
one new tab today:

One new tab today:

Two new tabs today:

One new tab today:

- Oct. 18, 2000
I've updated finally. I have added some new tabs. Four to be exact. This means that No Joke is now fully completed. Most of the albums are empty right now, but I'll probably borrow all of those albums from my friend sometime so I can figure them all out. I'll work on Too High to Die next because I have it. Up On the Sun may follow, but we'll see.
New Tabs:
- Nothing
- Poison Arrow
- Sweet Ammonia
- Never To Be Found (unfortunately without any solo)
