*Little Comment* Honestly, it was hard to come up with
a reason why Kyle would come. I just wanted to get
him into the fic. I mean, come on. He was shot and
then healed by an alien; when it happened to Liz she
became star of the show. Also, about hacking and
stuff, I don't know a thing about it. Could they do
it in a cafe?

"Kyle?" Liz said in an incredulous voice. "What are you doing here?"
"How did you find us?" Tess demanded, stalking up to him. "We thought nobody knew where we were."
"Those other aliens don't have the tracking methods the police do," Kyle said with a wry grin.
"He knows," Michael said angrily. "He knows what we are. I thought we could trust Valenti, Max, and here his son is, fully aware of what we are."
"I don't know much." Kyle said, but admitted, "Well, dad did tell me that the four of you are aliens, but that's pretty much it. He told me how you saved my life Max. It's just that those other aliens found out about it and want to get me now too, not sure why."
He continued, "When they came by the house and tried to take me, dad fired a couple of shots at them, told me to pack some stuff and sent me here to New York. Told me only that I could trust you, and said to get everyone out of New York, it's only matter of time before the others catch you."
"Shit," Max swore under his breath. "We've got to pack everything up and leave now."
"How are we supposed to get tickets?" Alex asked. "I mean, I don't exactly have a computer here with me, not even a laptop."
"We'll stop at an internet cafe or something and distract the waitress while you do your thing," Isabel suggested.
Michael, however, was still staring intently at Kyle "Are you sure that's all you know?"
"For God's sake Michael," Maria snapped, coming around to stand in front of Michael. "Stop finding a reason to get mad at Valenti. Kyle was shot then miraculously healed, didn't you expect him to want answers? Besides, it's not like if we know a ton more than the fact that you're aliens."
"So now you're ganging up on me too," Michael said, glaring.
"I just wish you wouldn't look for a reason to get angry," she said fiercely.
"As opposed to you who always has a reason to be angry?" Michael said sarcastically, crossing his arms over his chest.
"I have a damn good reason to be mad at you," Maria said fiercely, pointing a finger at his chest. "You are the most despicable human, I mean alien, being I have ever met. For God's sake, you didn't have to lie to me!"
"What are you talking about?" Michael said fustratedly. "When did I lie to you? You're just making up reasons to hate me. Just because you want me back doesn't mean that you need to make up reasons to me mad."
"Making it up!" Maria exclaimed in a shrill voice. "You think I'm making this up! For God's sake Michael, you are the last thing I want right now. When I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday and saw........"
Tess cut her tirade off, "If you to could continue this some other time, I do believe that we have to pack and get the hell out of New York. Unless of course you want to stay here and die."
Maria glared at her, "Listen, you little......"
She was cut off again, this time by Isabel, "Tess is right. We've got to go. Now. Who knows when the other aliens will get here?"
"Just don't sit him next to me on the plane," Maria said angrily to Alex who would be booking the tickets. She glared at Tess, "Or her for that matter."

They were in the internet cafe. Alex had already hacked into the airline's computer's and booked their tickets while Isabel flirted with the waiter to distract him.
Right now, Maria was sitting in a booth with Isabel and Alex. The others went to use the washrooms before they embarked on another long flight.
Isabel sat next to Alex, his arm loosely around her shoulders. It was a casual position, but they looked so intimate together. There was a contented expression on Alex's face.
Maria flashed back to last night in the hotel room. Isabel and Michael, making out. Their lips fiercely matching one another kiss for kiss, his hand sliding up her shirt. She saw Alex sitting across from her, falling in love with Isabel.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" Maria asked Isabel frostily, sliding out of the booth.
Isabel looked at Alex questioningly, and he just shrugged. Sighing, Isabel slid out of the booth and followed Maria to a corner of the cafe. "What do you want Maria?"
"How can you do this to Alex?" Maria asked point blank.
"What are you talking about?" Isabel asked, confused.
"I mean, lead him on when you've become involved with Michael," Maria snapped.
"I really don't know what you're talking about," Isabel said firmly. "Michael and I are not involved. Destiny or no destiny, we're too much like brother and sister."
"I saw the two of you Isabel," Maria said incredulously. "Last night, in the hotel room. You guys were kissing, and it was getting pretty hot and heavy."
Isabel gave her a weird look. "What are you talking about?! Last night, I slept like a baby right beside you the whole night. I certainly never got up to kiss Michael."
"But I saw you," Maria insisted.
"I don't know what you think you saw," Isabel said to Maria as the rest of the group approached, "But it certainly wasn't me and Michael. Maybe you were dreaming or something."
As everyone walked up, Isabel considered the subject dropped. Maria was shocked. Isabel sounded sincere and everything, but last night certainly hadn't been a dream of any kind.
**********
It not long after when they checked their luggage, and were about to board the plane. They were right at the boarding gate when Michael snapped his fingers. "Shit, I forgot to buy Gravol."
"You don't need Gravol Michael," Maria snapped, "The plane is supposed to take off soon. And besides, when did you start to get motion sickness?"
"I always have," he said forcefully, "That's why I even took some before we came the first time." he ignored the disapproving look that Maria shot him and shot back through the crowds to hit the duty-free shop.
Everyone had already checked in and boarded the plane except the two of them and Liz. Liz had handed her ticket to the flight attendant already, and turned back to look at Maria.
She sighed. "You go ahead. I'll stay here and make sure he gets on."
Liz nodded and went ahead. Maria stood fustratedly by the desk and tapped her foot, waiting for Michael to return.
Minutes upon minutes passed by slowly, and Maria started to worry. Where the hell was he? He should have been back within seconds.
Oh God, what if the aliens had caught up with them and had captured Michael. Or worse, what if they had killed him? What if he was lying in some back hallway of the airport, dying slowly? What if the aliens were headed towards her this very minute.
With Maria's mind going a mile a minute, she barely heard the flight attendant call, "Final boarding call for flight 709. The plane will be departing right away."
Maria walked quickly to the desk to where the lady was speaking over the intercom. "Excuse me," she said, leaning over, "Could you hold the plane for just a moment? My......friend, he just went to buy some gravol for the flight. He'll be right back."
"I'm sorry Miss," the lady said apologetically, "But we can't wait any longer and stay on schedule. If you'd like, you can board the plane right now, but we can't wait for your friend."
"I can't just leave him here," Maria said fustratedly.
"I'm so sorry," the lady said again.
As the lady closed off the boarding area behind her, Maria was too worried about Michael to notice. Where was he? He should have been back a long time ago. There was no real logical explanation for this. If he wasn't dead she'd kill him herself.
As she saw him walking towards her, she was extremely relieved. As he got close to her, she flung her arms around him. "If you ever scare me like that again, you're dead," she said fiercely in his ear.
Michael had absolutely no idea what was going on, but he couldn't stop himself from hugging her back.
Maria pulled back from him just in time to see their plane taking off from the airport window.
