Chapter One
Early winter is perhaps the greatest time for storytelling. It was at a public meeting hall that Gabriel along with several other villagers gathered for the telling of great tales of war. During the evening Gabriel noticed that among the villagers there were several soldiers. Intrigued he then went and spoke to some of them. During a conversation with one of the warriors he noticed they all had gathered around a man who seemed to hold some amount of rank in the group. Then Gabriel moved closer and listened to the tales of war not far from his home and greater armies forming in the east and western shores. After the stories Gabriel spoke to the man who then introduced himself as Aster, Lord of the Dominion. Gabriel then knew what he must do, he asked Aster if he might join his group and Aster took up his offer.
Shorty after, Gabriel spoke to his good friend Orin, a practiced swordsman, and told him of the danger that was growing. Orin then took up his sword, packed his things, and left with him for the Dominion. Then they marched north. To meet the Chamonites in battle and to secure the borders of the Dominion. But they were outnumbered still and knew that this would not be easy, and it was not. Victory was not thiers but they had managed to secure the borders and hold the Chamonites back for now. Upon returning to the Dominion Gabriel noticed that there still weren't enough soldiers to hold back an army the size of which Aster had spoke of. He then sent Orin to seek the help of their old friends Lucifer and Kaos. As Orin returned with the two, Aster thought of the rising threat from the north, and the rumors of great armies forming on the shores. He then decided to form a high guard, someone to protect the gates of the Dominion. Thus the Myrkridian Infantry was born, and with Gabriel at the helm, the new lance prepared for war.
The four constructed a new forge and began arming themselves. Months later Slayer arived after he had learned of Lucifers departure, and shortly after also did Kaine. Then six strong they, alongside the army of the Dominion marched south to the Kingdom Of The Crimson Dawn to aid them in battle of "Altair". Gabriel asked his brother Guarnin to help them build a camp, and he accepted but he had no real interest in the battle. But as he watched his brother become outnumbered he took up his bow and fought by his side. After the long battle had ended a celebration was held, along with a great feast. Aster had been made King of the Dominion, Gabriel was now Squired to Sir Rhyss, and Orin was made a Page. and with the Circle of Seven complete they swear aliegance to the Dominion and guard the gates of her realm.
