| What I think about 9/11 |

| We are all making to big of a deal out of this event. Bush has not handled this situation as well as he could have, he made a snap decision: kill whoever is responsible for this attack and whoever else gets in the way. Using violence to fight violence is not the answer to their problems. They need to think why would someone do this? Why would Osama Bin Laden leave the lap of luxury to hide out in a cave for months, and investing millions of dollars into planning this awful event? Why attack the richest, strongest nation in the world? Why the World Trade Centre? You have to have a whole lot of balls to do that and a lot of smarts into the planning of something this huge. And here is Bush and the media calling these cowardly attacks and what cowards the suicide bombers were. You have to be pretty brave to kill yourself for something you believe so strongly in. In no means is this cowardly. However, dont get the impression that Im praising these terrorists, how they handled their anger towards America was immature and in no means right. They had no right to hurt all those families who lost loved ones in the attack and those who tried to rescue them. However, on the other hand, the only way to get attention is to actually kill somethings and/or someones and thats very unfortunate. Bin Laden surely did a good job of that. Again, I do not praise the Bin Laden or the hi-jackers, but I do understand why they did it. Think of America as the big bully, big man on campus. With their attitude, good economy and money, they just cannot expect to be 100% safe. Remember that its not Canadian (or any other nations) helicopters, missiles or bullets that are that are killing people there, they are American. Make LOVE, not WAR! |
