| My friend Bob visited me again today, its strange how he always visits at the right time. Today his colors were bright and vivid, always changing. Crimson red, azure blue, sunny yellow, black, black as midnight, fuchsia pink, sea foam green. It was fun. He took me somewhere too, I forget what he called it, I forget a lot of things Bob tells me and shows me sometimes. But I like it when he takes me places. He shows me all sorts of new and wonderful things, even though hes shown me some really scary things too. Like the one time we were walking around in the dark. All of a sudden I had noticed that Bob wasnt beside me any more, I didnt know whether he had just wandered off and gotten lost or if it took him. I got scared, peeing my pants scared, I could feel its presence, so I ran. I ran faster than I ever had in my life. I ran into someones yard, and as I was going in, under this barren concrete archway, two decapitated bodies drop down. They appeared that they were hanging from their own tendons. I screamed and kept on running, I then realized that I knew those bodies from some where, but where? I ran under someone elses porch and there, there were more bodies hanging from rough ropes, all familiar, bloody faces. I finally found an open street. I felt I was safe here, but then when I looked to my right I saw a house with a huge window (without the glass) and there were all these bloody bodies, some with heads, some without, and some of them were still alive. Again, all the bodies and faces looked oh so familiar. That was when I blacked out. There was also this time when dinosaurs were taking over the world and Bob and I had to hide out in a tree house, but that wasnt as scary. However, Bob and I have shared many happy times too. One time, Bob and I were on this old hippy bus thing. Everything was dark and old inside the bus, and everything outside was bright and shiny and new, but sort of wishy-washy. We were riding through the country and I read an incoming sign. It has said something about giant dog farm or something rather. I looked out the window and there were three Shiu-Tzu puppies, playing and jumping around. We drove on a little more and I saw another sign that said White Rabbits, and I saw hundreds of whit rabbits running across the highway on telephone wires. Then I blacked out again. Bob took me to the beach today. I remember flying like a bird and seeing everything rushing below me. A tangle of greens and browns with twisting black roads interwoven. I got to the beach and laid down in the sand. It was the most glorious feeling ever! The sand was so warm and soft, the suns rays were delicately blanketing me in its luxurious warmth. I watched a couple of kids play with a rainbow colored ball, for the longest time I was in awe just watching the ball being passed between the two kids. One time the ball grinned at me just like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. It even winked at me. Then its features just dissolved back into the ball, and it continued going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. I laid back and then I guess I must have fallen asleep, because I woke up and the beach was deserted, even Bob was gone. I quickly jumped up, looking to see where everyone went. I ran up and down the beach, warm water splashing around my ankles. Finally, I just collapsed from exhaustion, my throat raw from shouting. I was sitting there when all of a sudden, I saw a flash of pink emerging from the waves. I saw whiskers and two big black eyes bulging from the sides of its head. Once it had emerged from the water, I had realized it was a giant pink cat fish! I got really scared because I have an intense, inexplicable phobia of fish, especially cat fish. I was paralyzed with fear, I couldnt move. I tried to scream but all that came out was the sound of a strangled bull frog. The giant fish raised its fin indicating it meant no harm (?????), that gesture made me relax a little, but I still didnt so much move a muscle. I looked a little closer and it appeared to have something in its fin. I squinted some more and realized it was a hair brush. I thought to my self: Why does a cat fish have a hair brush? They dont even have scales. The cat fish must have noticed me staring at his brush because he approached me with his fin held out, offering me his hair brush. Like some sort of peace offering? I finally managed to spit out some mangled words: H-h-h-hairbrush, w-why do you have a-a-a h-hairbrush? The giant fish responded by grinning a pointy toothed grin. That broke my paralysis. I started running like Hell again. Then I must have tripped over some stupid kids pail or something (hairbrush) I fell down and blacked out. |
