US car insurance rates are higher for males than for females. If someone were to get a sex change operation, would they keep the old rates or the rates of their new gender?

My opinion on the car insurance thing ... keep the original rates. Or you could be twisted and sleazy and charge for whichever of those sexes - former or current - would pay more.
