The Command Wolf ND (Naval Defense) is another of my original concept customs. Using the very versatile CP-15 and one of my favorite kits, the Command Wolf, this custom came really easily. I plan on making at least one additional weapon set for this custom.
Taking a Hasbro Command Wolf and leftover parts of a CP-15, this custom was really fun to build. I gave this Zoid a blue color scheme since it's primary purpose is shoreline defense. The rocket box from a CP-15 is mounted on the Command Wolf's standard cannon mount. The rocket box is designed so that it can be removed and set up for remote operation.
The Command Wolf ND was designed based on the versatile Helic Command Wolf platform. Seeing a need to defend their shores, Helic military engineers designed the CWND to fill that position. The CWND can be outfitted with all of the armaments available to the standard Command Wolf as well as weapon systems that have been developed especially for it. This particular version is equipped with a modified CP-15 Rocket Box. The standard rockets are replaced with long range surface to air missiles. Also, the CWND's structure and filters have been modified to handle the salty sea air and the paint contains a special anti-rusting element so the Zoid can handle the conditions of it's assignment.
