| Let there be peace.
This world could certainly do without war and violence. People wouldnt be losing their lives in wars if world powers could be more tolerant and understanding. Though yes, people have pride in their hearts, in their countries, in their history, and thats natural, but if we set pride aside, there would be a lot less disputes among people. Ill touch up on pride a bit later. Stop Ignorance! Ignorance is the main enemy of this social movement. If people were more educated, or at least had more common sense, there wouldnt be any kind of racialistic warring endeavors. There wouldnt be war. There wouldnt be people with hurt feelings because someone wrongfully abused them verbally, or had been unfairly judged. There wouldnt be random people being shanked and shot. There wouldnt be a need for prisons. Think about it. Pride is Ignorance, too! It isnt just religious pride (though it would seem that Im attacking religion right now, I honestly am not,) but also common pride, such as racial heritage or just being part of a good school football team. Being able to cook a nice dish, playing guitar really good, it doesnt/shouldnt matter. It needs not be an issue of pride, but of skill and talent, at least that way you could get positive praise from it, and not be socially attacked. No more racial quarrels! Ive touched on this a bit already, so you know where I stand on it. But as a recap Its BULL*(&#. Im white, okay? Lets get this out of the way. Im white, and in the past, Ive dated white girls and Mexican girls. Honestly I cant say that Ive found anything other than cosmetic differences. But youre probably asking, Why havent you dated any black or Asian or whatever girls? The simple truth is that I havent known any that strike me as my type. If you find that to be racist, then you need a reality check, because youre shallow and ignorant. If I could find a black/asian/whatever girl that is my type, then I would surely get to know her. As a matter of fact, I have several black/asian/whatever friends, and I treat them as equals and expect nothing more in return. Gay? Straight? Bi? It doesnt matter. This is quite the touchy subject. Ill need to poll more people about it before I can give a definite answer, since I (being imperfect) cannot think of a fair comment at this given moment, that wouldnt be offensive to someone in any small little way. |
