Monica's Memorable Performances Page
Yeah... so what if I used to worship the New Kids on the Block???  Their show in Nashville in August of 1990 was the first concert I ever attended.  Stop laughing.... you know you still remember "The Right Stuff" and "Hangin Tough"
The 2nd concert I attended was Paula Abdul live.  I don't remember what year that was... but I think the tour was for her second album "Spellbound".... which I LOVED!!!  Hey... she was cute and she sure can dance.
The next concert I went to was by Nelson.  Having trouble remembering them?  I don't blame you.  Go find an mp3 of "After the Rain"... and it should all come back to you.  Hey... they were rather hot to a 13 year-old girl in the early 1990s!
My first time seeing Tori Amos perform live was in April of 1996, for her Dew Drop Inn Tour.  I went with my boyfriend at the time, and even though our seats were in the VERY LAST row of the performance hall, it was amazing.
The next live performances I attended were while at college.  My friends and I went to all of the free shows that we could.  I saw Gallagher's brother, who looks just like the real Gallagher, and his comedy act is pretty much the same.  it was a riot, smashed fruits and all.
The next one I went to was
Michael Winslow... who you know as the funny black guy who makes noises in the Police Academy movies.  His show was the funniest I have EVER seen!  He really does sound just like Jimmy Hendrix playing electric guitar.... it is unreal.  And finally... I saw "The Amazing Jonathan." He was hilarious, even though he singled me out and tried to seduce me while on stage.  Long story.
Saw it.  Loved it.  Saw it again and loved it more.
This show kicks ass.
