To prepare information resources about the Bedouin in order to encourage cross-cultural dialog and contact that are the foundation of peace, understanding and mutual respect between the different cultures and nations in the region of Israel and the Middle East.

Collection Policy:
We strive to provide materials in English that are appropriate for Middle School students about the Bedouin, their history, culture, beliefs, current lifestyle and other topics that involve the Bedouin and the regions they inhabit. Please feel free to submit pictures and stories. Please be sure to include information about the picture such as, who took it, where, when, what the picture is about, and the camera used. Stories and pictures submitted through email to the librarian ([email protected])  will be added to the collection after the librarian's approval.

Maintenance Policy:
This Digital Library is a work in progress and shall be reviewed and checked on a regular basis utilizing Mozilla Firefox software to test for broken or obsolete page links. We recognize the evolving nature of technology and will try to insure that the images and information we create for our Digital Library will upgradeable and transferable to future technologies.

Future Enhancements:
By next year, the "Aziza's Delicacies" section will have more recipies, images and links to suppliers. The Herbal Remedies section should be up and running. The Goals of the trip video file will be up in the site. The Search function will be upgraded regularly to include more search terms and options.
How to Navigate:
When you want to see a resource within the Digital Library, simply click on it, and it will open as a replacement of the page you were previously on. Click your browser's "Back" button to return to that page.
