Lady Velvet Moon

Velvet was sent to live with Karrandas at a very early age for her "protection from known and unknown enemies." She never really knew her biological family because of this. She is often reminded of this and to escape those feelings of loss and abandonment, she visits the ocean and it's caressing breezes. Rand says she is of nobility, yet will not say more as to which family or what nation. She does love Rand and Bell as her second family, and now QSA as well, but she still feels very alone sometimes. Rand taught her to behave and act with status of her birthright, but she sometimes regrets it, seeing as how much it reminds her of her loss. She arrived with Rand and Bell in Moonglow after fleeing an orc raid that she wishes she could forget for Bell's sake. She has learned the sword as well as the intricacies of some magic. She often strolls the night on some beach or cliff wishing to the Moon that one day she might find her parents.
