Wardens of the Forest

It is the duty of all Wardens to protect the wilderness and keep the balance of nature. Wardens of the Forest are a special division of the Alliance, which are selected for their ability to interact with animals and monsters, or those that have a good working knowledge of stealth hunting. Stealth Hunting is the ability to follow and hunt using the skills of hiding, stealth, tracking, and Archery.

Ranks

Ranks and titles are bestowed upon the division members, based upon skill, accomplishment, loyalty to the Alliance, and respect for nature.

Warden Initiate:

This Rank will be for members new to the Alliance and who are one of the following: Archer, Bard, Provoker, Ranger, or Tamer.

Warden Journeyman:

Once the Warden Initiate has completed their profile and has been sponsored by three QSA members, they will be given the Journeyman rank. This ranking is a temporary rank, while the member gets used to the division workings and expectations.

Wardens:

This rank will be bestowed upon those members who make up the bulk of the Warden Division. Their titles will be chosen based upon skill as follows:
Warden titles will remain until the member has demonstrated a level of proficiency for their chosen skill, shown a good working knowledge of Alliance policy, demonstrated loyalty and dedication to not only the guild, but to the Warden division. These steps will be demonstrated by helping others. Once the Warden has demonstrated these attributes, he/she will be eligible for promotion to a higher ranking.

Guardians:

This Rank is given to the division members who have an appropriate amount of time in the Alliance, have demonstrated a good working knowledge of Alliance policy and procedure, have achieved at least two appropriate Grand Master skills and have demonstrated outstanding achievement, dedication, and loyalty to the Alliance. They will be assigned an Initiate member to help with skill building and general assistance. They will also be tasked with the care and upkeep of all of Her Majesty's stables and animals. In addition, tamers would be required to have at least two of the the following:
  • Dragon
  • Kyrin
  • Mare
  • Steed
  • Unicorn
  • White Wyrm
These pets would also need to have at least 2 Grandmaster skills each, showing that they are proficient in hunting with and taking care of their pets.

A member of the Guardians will be allowed to select an appropriate individual symbol they wish to represent their title, such as Minstrel of the Lost Lands, Archer of Compassion, Ranger of the Thorn, Tamer of the Sea, etc...

The position of Guardian will be assigned upon the recommendation and agreement of the Warden Council, and ultimately Queen Shieba.

Warden Council:

The Warden Council governs the Wardens of the Forest and is responsible for the overall functioning of the division including policy creation, setting up division training, candidate selection, and reporting to the High Warden Lord/Lady of the Forest and the Queen as to any division needs or issues.

Warden Council members will carry the title of High Lord/Lady, as part of their division title be it Archer, Musician, Veterinarian, Minstrel, Tamer, or Ranger. The Queen will appoint these council members based upon overall participation, loyalty, dedication, division assistance, and decision-making ability.

Warden Lord of the Forest:

This position is the division's head appointed by the Queen. The High Warden Lord/Lady of the Forest will be responsible for the administration of the division, approving new policies, accepting new division members, and coordinating activities with other divisions. In addition this member will be expected to keep the Queen and the Lord High Commander abreast of all of its members' activities, needs, and concerns by using their well versed knowledge of policies and guild history.
