Elwing (Wandering Healer)

Having lived in the wilder regions of the land most of my vagrant life, the wandering healers of the land became a large influence on me. They were, in many cases, the only one I could count on to help me. I learned from them as best I could. The more I learned, the more I realized what a lazy lot they were. They would stand a mere one-foot from my side and watch me die without raising a hand to aid me! Not till I was dead, that was their creed.

When the new lands opened on the other side of the cracks. The wandering healers as one said "we will not go there". They would deny a whole culture access to healers. I stood apart from them on that day. I denounced the healers and their guild for their decision. I myself began wandering in the new lands, healing. I was not lazy as my brethren. I would heal before death and not wait for the gray world to take hold on a soul before lifting my hand.

Because of this, I was forced to learn how to live long enough to stand near those who needed healing. I did this with ease because this is exactly what I am supposed to be doing with my life.

There is a need for healers in quests and explorations now more than ever. I accept these missions for little payment. My needs are few.

With the strange goings on, I will leave for a new crack in the world soon with a strong group of brave men.
