Duke D'Amour

D'Amour was the eldest child. As such he worked hard, very hard, to gain his father's approval. He worked day and night with Gurney to improve his fighting skills, but never could gain his fathers respect.

When he reached maturity, as was the family tradition, he ran off to make his fortune. He spent some time lumberjacking and became quite skilled at it, only to realize that his true skill was fighting and battle tactics. He became a Mercenary, and lived the life of drunkenness at inns, long hot bloody days on the battlefields, and many a fallen comrade and horses.

The Fall of Trinsic to the undead, though he would have called it the fall of Trinsic to the Swine of Britian, was a hard defeat for him and he moved on to the nearby inns of Brit. A fair maid by the name of Rebecca found him there lying in pool of his own bile. She cleaned him up and put him back together. He was in love. He went back to chopping wood for money, and hoped to settle down.

Gurney then tracked him down and told him of the horrors that befell his family. He went back to assist them and help establish them in the land of Britannia. During this reunion Galilee, that bastard, caught the eye of the fair Rebecca and she soon forgot all about D'Amour. Now broken hearted, he rides alone through this land.
