Angel Rai
Stepping through a moongate for the first time, Angel adventures through the lands of Britania. Impressed with the lush growth in Moonglow and the abundance of natural resources she makes her home in the woods. Having no interest in material possessions other than survival, Angel offers leather armour, tinkered items, fresh bandages, food and often her healing skills to passing adventures.
Raised at the Yew Abbey along with other orphans, living off the land comes natural to Angel. No stranger to hard work and the rewards therein, she becomes a Grand Master Tailor and royalty discovers her workmanship. With much encouragement, Angel is finally convinced to run a small shop in the woods of Moonglow and becomes the new owner of Xarst�s Tailoring Hut.
Working with Treskan, who provides her with the needed ingots to hone her tinkering skills, another new shop opens in Trammel. As her skill increases, more vendors are brought to the Queen�s shops. Angel is commissioned to make furniture for the castle and soon others come to her with many requests. The magic Angel shunned most of her life becomes an asset when with the wave of a hand she can be from one shop to another saving valued time to fill customer orders. With the new magic she is learning, Angel aspires to being able to make the sought after pentagrams only few can master.
Learning so much magic seems to drain Angel�s strength. She has never been weak! Attempting to gain strength to carry more wood as she once did, Angel ventures to a dungeon to practice swinging her axe on something other than trees. A dozen dungeon beasts not only do not provide hides as the hinds do, they hit hard. Humiliated that her world has now turned gray, Angel is none the less grateful to the Duke for her rescuing her, and vows to stay in the woods. She is a tradeswoman! Dungeons are for the Knights! Another tree...another hind....another bale of cotton......another pouch of gold pieces for the Alliance.
