Vans Warped Tour 2002 w/ BAD RELIGION / NOFX / MXPX / much more... August 9, 2002 Tweeter Center - Camden, NJ List of Bands: Bad Religion, Mxpx, NOFX, The Movielife, Thursday, Alkaline Trio, Flogging Molly, Good Charlotte, Lagwagon, New Found Glory, No Use For a Name, Ozma, Reel Big Fish, Something Corporate, The Used, The Eyeliners... and more still! My good friend Pam managed to score me a photo pass for this years Warped Tour, which was really great because I didnt have to deal with the pit at all. Also, I got to take these nice photos all day long. I questioned whether or not to even review the Warped Tour, because it would just be like doing a bunch of short crappy reviews for a bunch of bands, but here I am doing it anyway! So I'll just keep it to one sentence per band: Bad Religion was great, and they totally rocked the shit out of all those 15-year-olds in the crowd. Alkaline Trio played well, but they didnt seem to get much of a crwod response at all, and there was maybe 3 crowd surfers during their set. Thursday was loud as shit, and gave another energetic and powerful show, as usual. Mxpx did their basic show, it never really changes, but they still rock with the throwing of guitars and jumping all over. Lagwagon played well, and did some clowning up on stage, representing an era of punk that seems to be fading fast. NOFX was being bombarded with trash for the first 5 mins they were on stage and Mike talked shit about the prez and made fun of other shit before they strummed one chord. Well, there you have it. Now for the best part... the photos!
