I went to this show with Sarah and Nikki, the most emo-tastic girls I know, haha. We stood on the floor for Appleseed Suck Squad, who totally sucked, and then headed up to the balcony for the rest of the show. The Kids, that's right I'm a big enough fan where i can just refer to The Get Up Kids as just "The Kids", played a pretty good show as usual. I was surprised about how much stuff they played of Eudora, beside the fact that it had just come out like 2 weeks prior to the show. But they played my favorite song too, "Central Standard Time", which was totally awesome. They also played the David Bowie cover, "Suffragette City", at the end of the show which was pretty rad. They did some new songs off of their upcoming album, and I have to be honest... I wasn't all that impressed. One of them was pretty cool, but there was this one that just sounded like a lame blues riff and it was awful. I'll have to wait until I hear the whole album before I totally trash them however, lol.
