REVIEW:
The first thing you'll probably notice about this Long Island bands debut is the drummer using a piccolo snare, which I don't really like, because it sounds like a it's coming out of a synthesizer to me. But whatever. There's nothing that I can really discern as originality on this album. They do sound a bit like Saves the Day on some of the songs, like 'Breathe' and 'Sucker'. Basically it seems like their good songs sound like Saves the Day and their bad songs just sound like generic emo rock, with a little bit of the post-punk indie sound thrown in. Not terrible, but not terribly original or talent-laden. The last song 'Key of Crime' is just piano and vocals and it drags on for over 6 minutes.
