REVIEW:
After loving the 'Instrument' video, I was pretty excited to hear the songs from the movie on a cd. I was wrong. Taken out of context, these "songs" are merely just unfinished thoughts. The only good tracks in my opinion are 'Guilford Fall demo' and 'Slo Crostic'. These songs, and maybe 1 or 2 more, are surrounded by a lot of filler. Slightly disappointing.

REVIEW:
This is probably the best album to come out in 2001. It is a slight departure from the usually rowdy Fugazi, but in my opinion, if you can remain as fiercely independent as they have for so long, you can release anything and have it perceived as brilliance. I listen to this a lot of nights when I'm going to bed, and it dosent put you to sleep because it's boring...I guess it's just very soothing. There's a piano on one of the tracks, and it just sounds right. Fugazi always knows what to do. If you're expecting to hear another 'Waiting Room' on this cd, you may be disappointed. But it will grow on you. My favorite track is 'Epic Problem'. The next Fugazi album is going to be called 'Guy takes a shit on stage because Ian told him to'. And it's going to be brilliant, it has to be.
