REVIEW:
Some people find cover albums hokey, but I'm one that dosen't mind hearing a good interpretation of where a band has come from. The only thing lacking about this record seems to be real feeling, maybe that's just the way Face to Face is though. Track 4 is a great Pogues cover with a classic Irish feel to it. Track 5 is a spacey Pixies cover, done in a decent fashion. The best cover is "Merchandise" by Fugazi, it is pretty dead on. Again, a pretty good cover album that unfortunately just lacks feeling.
