| Torn (A Poet in Love 2) Her thoughts run wild, she tenses up, her eyes fall to the ground. Her face turns pale, her legs get weak, her heart begins pound. He takes her hand, raises her head, and looks into her eyes. He kisses her, with all he has, but stops the second time. Emotions wild, she takes a breath, to try and calm her thoughts. She panics as she finds the words, answer his question sought. Upon her cheak, a teardrop rests, that came straight from her heart. She hesitates, but must go on, he lips begin to part. "I love you hun, more then you'll know, for that I'm always sure. Threw our troubles, and hardest times, your mind remained so pure. A-last my love, I must respond, with words that prick like thorns... for someone else, has stole my heart, and leaves yours broke and torn..." 2003-2004 All right reserved by Keith A. Lynema |
