9. 1/24 RC Solar power car.   19 July 2014
This is a pure solar power car. using 5 solar cells. each cell has 1.5V power, so total are 7.5V.   

The solar cell is expensive, each one is HKD $125 - $150 about 10 years ago.

The construction is simple, light case with old chassis.

It's speed  is about 3 times human walking when out door at noon. 

 
The solar cells are connected in serial. The small volt meter indicate the power.

The chassis is a 1/24 car parts. The radio system is a tamiya tamtech product.

And the motor is connected the cells directly. It is because of  highest effective.
