Economics - A Subject Guide
This webpage is designed to be a comprehensive  guide to the economics resources available to Rutgers University students and faculty. Many of the resources are freely accessible to anyone with a need for authoritative and scholarly information about economics.

The guide is has four primary objectives:

      General Guidelines for Economics Research, with an emphasis on defining a topic.  Includes a brief outline of how to use the Rutgers Library Catalog IRIS for finding resources.

      Finding Articles:  a brief discussion of the general practices used to find articles.  This section also contains full tutorials for the following databases:  CIAO; Factiva; Lexis/Nexis Academic, etc.

     Evaluating Resources:  This section focuses on the evaluation of white papers and think tank information.  Also included is a check list for evaluating information found on the Internet.

The Data section contains links to data sources for US and Non-US information including central banks, government economic data, census information, etc. 
The Scholarly Communications section contains links to economics journals, white papers, and dissertations.
