Turning
Toeside: To do a toeside turn start with your weight centered and slowly shift it to your front foot. Now gradualy push the weight to your toes and keep your knees bent. Stoping
Heelside: To do a heelside stop you must first do a 90 degree heelside turn. Instead of releasing the pressure from your heels at the end of your turn you should keep the pressure on your heels. The rest is the same as a turn just center your weight but remember to keep the pressure on your heels. This will allow you to make a gradual clean stop.

Lift Riding
Getting On: To get on a lift you must first take your back foot out of your bindings. Now you push yourself forward with your back foot and glide to the spot in the lift line where the atendent tells you to stop. Now keep your board strait but turn your but so that when the chair hits the back of your legs you can sit down. After you sit down wait to turn your board sideways untill you're fully lifted into the air.
Getting Off: To get off a lift just turn your board so that it is strait and wait for your board to hit the ground. When it hits the ground place your back foot so that it is on the middle of your board when it touches the ground. As soon as your board is completely on the ground stand up and push off the chair. Now all you have to do is stop and put your back foot in the binding and ride down the hill.
Jumping
Basic Air: To do a basic air aproach the jump at moderate speed. When the nose of your board reaches the lip or the top of the ramp try to spring off your tail and suck your knees up to your chest. At this point you should be floating in the air you will feel weightless. Don't be alamed when this happens. To land straiten your legs a little and wait for your board to hit the ground. When it hits the ground let your knees bend to surve as shock absorbers.
