The Matrix Trilogy
Nothing will ever beat the storyline, special effects and action of this brainchild of the Wachowski brothers. These movies just blow me away.
My Fave of the 3: The Matrix. Even its own sequels cannot beat the first one.
Notting Hill
This is the ultimate love story for me. It was funny and heartwarming at the same time.
My Fave Line: When Julia Roberts says to Hugh Grant, "After all...I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
A Walk to Remember
A tearjerker that had an emotional impact even on its male viewers. Plus, it shows Mandy Moore's surprisingly good acting talent.
My Fave Scene: The one where Shane West made Mandy realize that she wants to be with him.
Jerry Maguire
The only Tom Cruise movie that I appreciated. It's about Jerry Maguire's life-changing experience and a little trip to love's haven.
My Fave Line: Jerry Maguire says. "You complete me." Dorothy Boyd, his wife, replies, "You had me at hello." Awww!
Pretty Woman
A classic love story that made Julia Roberts a household name and Richard Gere more lovable.
My Fave Scene: I was in tears when Julia was leaving Richard to go back to her old life.
Speed
An action flick that kept me glued to my seats. The love story between Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves works for me.
My Fave Scene: The entire movie gave me an adrenaline like never before.
She's All That
The very first teen movie I saw. Freddie Prinze Jr. stars as the school's "it" guy who falls for a girl worlds apart from his.
My Fave Scene: The rap scene done in their campus.
Two Weeks Notice
Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant are two of my favorite movie stars. When they got together for this movie, there were sparks flying all over.
My Fave Scene: I cried when he read the speech he made in which he indirectly told her how he feels.
The Thomas-Crown Affair
I thought it was boring at first but it turned out to be pretty good.
My Fave Scene: In the forest, Pierce Brosnan tells Rene Russo that he has feelings for her.
Minsan Minahal Kita
A Filipino movie that I never tire of seeing. It stars Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez as married individuals who find love in each others arms.
My Fave Scene: The one where they meet in the overpass after a brief separation.
