This page is about my future, how I see it and how I want it to be. I know that I have big dreams but I'm more than willing to work for them.
Weeks from now, I will be graduating from high school. I would enter college and take up law. After about seven years of study, I will take the bar exams, pass it and get my license. I will practice my profession and hopefully win majority of my cases. I would love to handle a case of someone famous and controversial. If I have enough money, I will put up my own law firm. I'd run the office and make sure that everyone is doing his or her job.
I want to get married before I reached my thirties. My partner should be someone I've been with for years, has a stable job and preferably someone who's in the same level as I am. We both have to be ready in all aspects. I will choose September 11 to be our wedding date. It will be held on Sto. Domingo Church at exactly 5:00 p.m. I don't care where the reception will be, as long as it will accommodate all our guests.
I envision a two-storey house for us. It should have at least four rooms, excluding the maid's quarter. A van for our transportation will do. I want our garage to be spacious.
I plan to have two kids, a boy and a girl. My first born will be named Christian and my daughter will be baptized as Andrea Melange. Their age gap must be at least three years. I think I'll send them to the same school so big brother could protect his little sister.
I'm sure that we'll encounter some problems but I'm also sure that we'll overcome those. I don't think I'll be a strict mom. I'll be there to guide my kids but I will also teach them the importance of making decisions on their own. I'll let them decide what course they're going to take up in college. I hope that both of them will get married to the right person at the right time just like I did.
I think I would like to have five grandchildren. I dream to see them running around the garden, playing. I want to see their eager faces as they approached me and their grandfather.
I'll consider myself lucky if I live up to 75 years old. I'd rather die because of old age or sickness than accident. I want to die in my home, in my own bed. I hope that moments before I die, I'll be able to talk to my loved ones, especially my husband. I'll hold his hand as my eyes slowly close as sweet death comes over me.
