"And then the light came. It took me away to the testing place."

 

 The episode that started it all. Dana Scully meets and is sent to work with Fox Mulder. They head to a small village in Oregon to investigate a strange case. They end up finding a nice little scheme that involves a UFO, abduction experiences, and several kids... Including Billy Miles.

Billy is originally in a coma... Supposedly one that he's been in for four years. If you ask me... But don't ask me. It's safer that way. Anyway, he and several of his classmates seem to be afflicted with strange 'problems.' People ending up in the woods. Loss of communicative abilities. Strange stories.

Mulder and Scully begin to investigate, only to discover that they're resisted by the townspeople. They know that there's a secret, and their determined to uncover it. In the end, they do. Unfortunately for them, however, the file is take off the record by officials on a higher level of the government... Conspiericy time.

What they discover, what they put into the report, was that the kids had been abducted and experimented upon by aliens. The kids received orders from the light, and were brought into the forest by Billy.

They aliens left abruptly, and Billy told the story while under hypnosis. The story was hidden by the government, though... As I said.

Go figure.
