The Drowning Trout

"You should never underestimate the predictibility of stupidity."

Dogs. Gypsies. Unlicenced boxing. The London underworld. An eighty-four carat diamond.

These are some of the elements that combine together in the movie Snatch to form an entangled series of crimes and dilemmas. A wide-ranged cast and the direction of Guy Ritchie help to make this movie an excellent work.

For a brief synopsis:

Franky Four Fingers has a diamond the size of a fist.

Consider that for a minute… A diamond. Expensive diamond. Big diamond. He, along with three others, stole it. Franky's job is to get the diamond to his boss in New York, Cousin Avi... Or, rather, to get the diamond to Doug the Head.

Valuable diamond. Middle of London. Many 'unsavory' characters about.

Most people would be willing to kill for the diamond. Word spreads throughout the London underground that it's there, and many people want to get their hands on it. There are, of course, many individuals, but there are also a few 'bigger' names who want it.

As the diamond falls through the hands of different people of different groups, people become more desperate to grab it. Who will end up with it...? Watch the movie. Then you'll see. So hah.

Enough of the sysnopsis.

Anyway, this is my page for the movie Snatch. Dedicated to Bullet Tooth Tony and Errol.
