"Then he realized that it was not blood he was looking at, but roses."
-'The Dark Tower Three: The Waste Lands"
The world of Roland Deschain is immensly complicated, though not completely unlike our own. It is connected with all others by one point, that of The Dark Tower, and immense structure that must be saved.
The works pertaining to the Tower are intricatly woven and have formed the idea of the connection of the worlds through four 'Dark Tower' novels, a short story, and several of Mr. King's other novels.
To understand these worlds is difficult, mayhap it is even immpossible for us. We know not what is to come, only what has happened. Even what we know is vieled in mystery.
The Dark Towers series are my favorite of King's works and, like many others, I eagerly await the next release.
