Krycek first appeared on the X-files in the second season as a 'green' FBI agent.... Or so he said. In all actuallity, he was working for Cancer Man. As an agent, he worked with Fox Mulder on a series of miscellaneous cases. He managed to keep up the charade for a while, but eventually had to give it up.

He continued to work for Cancer Man, but eventually fell into his dislike when he shot Melissa Scully instead of her sister, Dana. Cancer Man attempted to have Krycek murdered, by Krycek, being the brilliant Rat he is, escaped with a valuable and informative tape, leaving Cancer Man hanging. Eventually, he showed up with the tape again, having been caught after selling information from it. Then the adventures of the tape played out.... I may get into that at another time.

This was folllowed by more work with Cancer Man, this time as more of an associate than an employee. He had the wonderful opportunity to deal with aliens... fun, no? And, I'm going to skip cariouxs occurances, mostly because I don't feel like listing them now. He was locked up in a nice little 'hell-hole', then was taken out by Cancer Man to take on a mission of finding the crash site of a UFO. Instead of findijng the UFO, however, he pushed Cancer Man down a flight of stairs. How sad... Can you sense the sarcasm?

He showed up again with a vaccine that he said could bring Mulder into health after the agent had been found in a nasty state. He ended up dropping it, and it ended up being useless, but they didn't know that, did they?

The last time Alex showed up was at the end of season eight. He told Mulder, Doggett, Scully, and Skinner about the 'super-human' race of hybrids, and helped them... A little. After trying to shoot Mulder, he himself was shot by Skinner. The end...

Or is it? I personally believe that Krycek isn't dead. I mean, according to the show he is, but when do I listen to that? Ha ha. Anyway, for more on that, check out the theories... But I think he's a hybrid.
