PAGE SIX --And The Hits Keep Coming.

Have You seen Benny? While i was riding around on my bike taking all of these photos, i came across this sign on a street pole, and i just knew it was perfect for the site. Benny is a cat belonging to someone in the area, but he got away. Yes, Benny escaped, got parole, took a long walk in the other direction, left town, and will never be seen again. Why didn't you take me with you Benny?! The bastard.

Have you ever seen anything as bent as this? i think it was inspired by the film Edward Scissorhands, (or possibly an episode of Burke's Backyard) it's not the greatest display of topiary ever seen, but you wouldn't expect that from North Ryde. A two-seater and single-seater sofa: this is North Ryde at it's best.

A dozen tennis courts, and all of them empty on a sunny Sunday afternoon-- welcome to Tennis World. This place used to attract people, but that was before us locals got interested in things like tree design, nowadays Tennis World is a ghost town. I think they should wipe out the courts, plant a couple hundred bushes, and start a topiary college-- Lord knows we need the help.

This isn't the best photo of the local ice skating rink, but i think it still captures nicely the rink under a bit of water. And isn't that what you want when you're skating around-- a layer of water. Damn i love this place.
