If you plan on using the Hooker super comp headers that’s great! The 1 ¾ chassis headers breathe great BUT the starter is a nightmare. The only solution I could come up with is to buy a “Mini-starter”, use the smaller tooth flywheel and then: (Here’s the catch) INVERT the starter! Yes you heard me! Turn the starter upside down with the solenoid pointing downwards and the starter fits perfectly with room to spare! Many thanks go to my pal Kevin who figured this out after skinning several knuckles.

The stock master cylinder for a 66 is a single well style making a “line-loc” a little tricky. The 67 model is a 2 well model that bolts right in. You will need to modify the brake lines of course but it’s worth it!

If you experience tire spin with your Nova (any year for that matter) try the “Caltrac” bars manufactured by Calvert Racing (See link on home page)…..these things are great! They will make your Nova hook hard!
