Li sprints to 200m personal best
Local track and field athletes shrugged off yesterday's rain with the resultant heavy track conditional to record good performances in the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Assocation (HKAAA) open meeting at Wan Chai Sports Ground.
Fresh from his record breaking 400 meters run in Bangkok last week,Waston's Athletic club's (WAC) Macau-based sprinter Li Vai Kun clocked Hong Kong's fastest 200meters time for several when he demolished a strong field on a very heavy track to clock 21.87seconds and record a personal best with Chiang Wai Hung of Yuen Long District Sports Association (YLDSA) almost literally training in his wake in second place with a time of 22"45.
