This is the first image I created in CAD (over 10 years ago now) that I was really proud of. The dragons are mostly similar to one another, and the large rings have rotational symmetry, so I was able to copy a large number of them fairly easily. I think I spent most of the time on this one just trimming the lines where things overlapped. The variable scale of similar shapes reminded me quite a bit of some of Escher's work, hence the title. I try to do my own thing when it comes to design, but I admit that a lot of my inspiration has come from seeing the works of others, so I try to give credit where credit is due.
