This image is based on one of the lattice structures that I created while experimenting with some small interlocking plastic stick units. I am fascinated by the number of ways that the same shape can be connected to form a continuous pattern, although I am disappointed that I wasn't able to build a stable structure with them that was uniform in three dimensions.
