The Boolean intersection of three orthogonal circular cylinders is something that is close to, but not quite a sphere. The more cylinders you add, the closer you get, but there are always little parts that stick out a bit. Here I have colored in the faces to show the pattern created by the intersection of thirty-one evenly spaced cylinders.
