Ever microwaved a CD? I definitely have to say that I recommend it. In addition to a momentary light show, you get a wonderful fracturing of the thin aluminum film between the plastic layers. This image uses that same texture mapped back onto a CD model. A little "post-processing" manipulation give it that twisted look.
