If I ever had to recreate this piece from scratch, I probably couldn't even get close. I think this image was caused by an interference pattern between the screen resolution and a checkered material I was using at the time. It has been so long, I don't really remember. Anyway, I thought it was one of the most interesting interference patterns I had ever seen, so it was certainly worthy of becoming a monthly desktop.
