Atrasanctum
Quietus
1 - Silence of Death
With this power, you can create a zone from which no sound may escape. You could run at full speed, fire a machine gun or set off 100 pounds of dynamite and no one would hear. Note that those within the circle can still hear sounds from outside it.
2 - Scorpion's Touch
By changing the properties of their blood, an Assamite may create a powerful venom that strips her prey of its resilience. Assamites are known to deliver the poison by coating their weapons with it, blighting their opponent with a touch, or spitting like a cobra. If a mortal's stamina falls to zero, she becomes terminally ill and loses immunity to diseases, her body succumbing to sickness within the year unless she manages to increase her Stamina. If a Kindred is reduced to zero Stamina, she may recover from torpor when one of her Stamina points returns.
Weapons so envenomed must be of the melee variety--arrows, sling stones, bullets and the like cannot carry enough of the stuff to do damage. No more than two blood points' worth of poison may be expectorated, and a Kindred may spit a distance of 10 feet for each point of Strength and/or Potence they possess. Assamites are immune to their own poison, but not the blood-venom of other Assamites.
3 - Dagon's Call
This allows an Assamite to drown her target in its own blood. By concentrating, the Assamite bursts her target's blood vessels and fills his lungs with vitae that proceeds to strangle him from within. It works on even unbreathing Kindred. The Assamite must touch her target prior to using Dagon's Call. Within an hour after, the Assamite may issue the call, though she need not be in the presence or even line of sight of her target. Costs one Willpower point. The number of sucesses achieves is the damage, in health levels, the victim suffers. Damage is considered lethal. So long as the Assamite continues to spend Willpower, the character may continue to rending her opponent from within.
4 - Baal's Caress
Allows the Assamite to transmute her blood into a virulent ichor that destroys any living or undead flesh it touches. Inflicts aggravated damage when used on a weapon, one blood point is consumed per hit.
5 - Taste of Death
You can effectively spit blood at your foes, doing aggravated wounds to those hit. The attack is almost silent but the wounds it leaves cause horrible, permanent scars on mortals and Kindred alike. This attack has a range of thirty feet.
6 - Cleansing of Influence
By spending a blood point and touching a single subject with a drop of her blood, the character can remove non-blood based influences such as Dominate.
7 - Thin Blood
By spending a blood points and touching an opponent with a blood-stained hand, the character can weaken the opponent's blood so that it cannot be used to heal wounds.
One success one turn
Two successes one hour
Three successes one day
Four successes one month
Five successes until the opponent lowers her generation
8 - Blood of the Cobra
This power enables the character to use any Quietus power, such as Weakness or Diseased, without the need for physical contact. Instead, the character need only spit blood at the target.
9 - Blood Curse
By spending a blood point and touching an opponent, the character makes the opponent's blood thin and weak. The opponent can no longer heal aggravated wounds at all, and two blood points are required to heal one level of non-aggravated damage. Furthermore, the character may no longer make ghouls, Embrace progeny or Blood Bond other Kindred. Successes same as Thin Blood.
