An Essay on the Faults of the Human Nature

I Hate People. I truly do.  I don't just say it so people will think I'm evil, I really mean it.  And don't think for a second
this is another holier than thou speech, because I am just as bad as the rest of the world.  People are, in general,
and with a few exceptions, the most arrogant and selfish creature on the toilet Earth.  People have so many problems
that they made themselves, then they complain about them.  People have an insatiable want and a will to always
get what they want, regardless of what happens to others.  We all MUST be dominant, powerful, liked, accepted, etc.
in order to be content, but we NEVER are.  Even if we have all things a man or woman could ever desire, we NEED
more.  Most people never realize how ignorant they are and they think they’re a good person, but they could be the
worst of them.  Most people NEVER take the time to truly get to know someone, or get to know how they are; they
just focus on how “cool” they are.  Appearance is much more important than personality, so if you don’t dress in the
latest fashion, or conform to the newest fad, you’re not cool, and you will be viewed as an outcast.

Religion is a joke; its shoved down your throat early in life so that you’re so brainwashed by the time you
can make a real decision you just follow, blindly, what you’ve always known.  In a Christian church, they tell you all
about God and the temptations of Satan, but they NEVER tell you to read a bible.  They tell you THEIR views and
interpretations of the bible, they NEVER tell you to have you own opinion.  They force you to believe all the stories
and fables to be true, or else you go to Hell.

I believe the bible to be a teaching tool, not a book of complete fact.  I’m sure some of its teachings are
true, and happened, but I’m sure most of it is fiction.  Its like a children’s book, that teaches us the basics on living
life, though rarely heeded.  Its merely a book to keep one with an idle mind on the right track and to build a delusion
of an afterlife.  Anyone (but certainly not everyone) with their own opinion will think for themselves and follow what
they believe and not what someone tells them to believe.

Another human flaw is our belief that our opinion is always right, and that is why I think  Christianity is such a widely
practiced religion.  It’s been forced on man since the Middle Ages,  right or wrong, its fact.  Man has a will to be in
power and to be the one all look up to.  He will say all others are wrong so that he is right, so that he is the most
dominant.  Most think that animals are primitive and so far behind our ways, they are behind us in technology, but
socially, we are both at the same level.  One animal in a group must be the most important, the alpha male, the
leader, and if they are opposed, they either kill the challenger, or are killed themselves.  And in writing this essay
I almost feel that I am forcing an opinion on you, the reader.  This is only an opinion of mine, and I do not force you
to agree with it, but feel free to do so.

I hate the ugliness of cities, people rushing around behind their false business masks.  I hate how they grovel at
the feet of their bosses; in order to please their instinctive need for the feeling of dominance.  I hate how dirty things
get and all the noise.  Everyone has to get everywhere fast, and has to do everything all at once.  I, personally, get
claustrophobic in a city,  I went to Washington D.C. for a weekend and on Sunday I had trouble breathing.
People are a disease, they’ve clogged the planet with all their cities and technology. We’re like locusts, we invade
an area, use up all of its resources, and move on, leaving  concrete and monuments to nothing behind.  The human
race literally is a race.

We have the insatiable desire to go faster and faster, to be smarter and smarter.
We think this is the only way we’ll ever be content, to know everything, but it adds more problems.  Knowing more
will actually clog ones mind to a point of insanity.  We must have the fastest computer, the fastest car, the best job,
the most money, and it is ruining us.  Animals, as far as I know, are not plagued by this disease, and live their lives
truly content, only worrying about food and survival, not a big house and money. And this essay, my monument to
nothing, It will not change the world, but hopefully open the eyes of some who are blind in the ways of human nature.
Hopefully some will begin to think before stereotyping someone.  And perhaps realize how greedy and selfish the
human race is.
