Regents Exam Prep Center Website Review
The regent’s exam
prep center website is presented to us by the
This website contains great lesson plans, as well as hands on and interactive activities. There are many useful power point review games for the students to have some fun while learning. On this website there is not a section for English, but they do include an outline of the English regent’s exam. This is a helpful website not only for teachers but also for students. There is a link for students to learn good study strategies. There is also a reference library which links to a page with web search engines and free online reference resources. Students can also practice and study by taking old regents exams that are posted on the website. There is also a link on this website for regent’s review live. By clicking on the live regents review you can actually watch streaming video’s; which include video lessons, a video glossary, and video answers that explain the right and wrong answers to each question on the regents exam. In the math section of this website there is also a link for the graphing calculator which I think is wonderful. This brings you to a page that explains how to use the graphing calculator. Also on each lesson plan if you are able to associate the graphing calculator into that lesson it links you to a page to explain step by step how to do that activity or lesson on the graphing calculator.
I would recommend this website to everyone I know because I think that it is fabulous! I use it all the time to help me with lesson plans and planning activities for certain topics in math. I have also used some of the power point games and templates that they offer you on the website for math A and math B review. I think this website is great to introduce to your students as well because there are online assessments, interactive games and puzzles on the website that can test their knowledge. One last thing that I really like about this website is that it lists specifically for math all the standards and what lessons fall under which standards. I think that is a great idea because if you are unsure of what standards are covered in a certain lesson this will definitely help you out. Overall this is one of the best websites that I have seen thus far for math, I really love it!
