Why I want to immigrate

The not so important reasons...
  1. I want to get to watch the latest TV programs :)
  2. I want to have as many TV channels to tune in to as possible

But really, I want to move out of Malaysia because...

  1. I love the English language, and I believe I will stay in this learning rut that I'm in if I don't move to a country where everyone speaks English (or a language totally different from my mother tongue)
  2. I want to have a true friend....I have long ago lost hope of ever finding a true friend here and I think that is because it has to do with the Asian culture...
  3. I'm tired of my country's bragging being able to do this and that when most people know it's nothing more than knocks on an empty tin can
  4. I have always believed the education system of the West is way better than in the East. I was proven true in a costly way, MYR80k and five years later - my tertiary education which is supposed to prepare me for the challenging world of career is screwed because of a Malaysian university.
  5. Too much putting on airs here and corruption!
  6. Asian values do not fit me...
Where do you want to go?
  1. Canada - a country which has several times been nominated by the UN as one of the best countries to live in in the world; also it's near the US, and relatively so to the UK, where I have friends
  2. United Kingdom - the birth land of the language that I love; I love everything British
  3. United States of America - One of the greatest countries in the world, its foreign policy notwithstanding
